Coptic Association for Social Care (CASC)
The Coptic Association for Social Care (CASC) is a registered non-governmental organization that provides social services to numerous communities around Egypt. Established in 1990 (registration number 184/1990), CASC aims to promote human dignity in the most vulnerable communities. CASC has a wide experience in the field of integrated development, with implementing activities in the field of agriculture, environmental sustainability, and poverty alleviation in both urban and rural communities. It is considered as BLESS twin sister.
Maize is one of the most strategic crops in Egypt. During field visits by one of the CASC staff members, which also coincided with the maize planting season, it was reported that the crops were infested with Fall Armyworm.
The Program combats violence against children by empowering faith leaders and caregivers with tools for positive parenting, conflict prevention, and the promotion of tolerance.
Since the outbreak of the conflict in Sudan and the influx of refugees from Sudan to Egypt, CASC has provided immediate, multi-sectoral assistance to people from Sudan.

As part of our commitment to improving children’s health in underserved communities, the Primary Health Care Program at CASC conducted comprehensive medical checkups for 43 children in El-Sawama’a village – Sohag Governorate.
As part of its ongoing efforts to improve education quality in rural areas, the Improving Standard of Education Program at CASC has launched a new “Tree of Life” class in Manjough village, Sohag Governorate.
In a heartwarming scene, the “Rise and Walk” Center, hosted a special celebration to honor the mothers of children with special needs — recognizing their remarkable role in supporting their children and guiding them on their path toward progress.
